News Live is a 24-hour Assamese-language satellite news channel from Guwahati, Assam, broadcasting news, current affairs and infotainment programmes for the Northeast. The channel is owned by Pride East Entertainments, the Guwahati-based media group whose majority stake is held by Riniki Bhuyan Sarma.

Mornings to Late Night in Assam

The channel's schedule is built around Assamese daily life: Good Morning Assam and Breakfast Live open the day, Guwahati Live tracks the state's largest city, and Noixo Guwahati looks at the capital region at night. Talk and discussion formats — Kotha Barta, Deoboriya Adda, Prekhyapot and Talk Time — give airtime to the state's political and social questions.

Politics, Culture and the Assamese of the Year

News coverage follows the Assam government, the chief minister's office and the state assembly, alongside district reporting on education, health, floods and civic issues. The channel also honours public life in the state through its annual Assamese of the Year award, whose laureates have included journalist Arnab Goswami, filmmaker Jahnu Barua, boxer Shiva Thapa, actor Adil Hussain and singer Papon.
