TV channels Mauritius

Television on Mauritius flows from a single source: the Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation, the national state broadcaster that serves the islands of Mauritius, Rodrigues and Agalega from its headquarters in Reduit, Moka.

One Broadcaster, Many Tongues

MBC is the country's public broadcaster, carrying news, culture and entertainment in the island nation's languages. Its programs go out in a dozen tongues - French, Creole, English, Hindi, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Mandarin and Cantonese among them - reflecting the many communities that share the island, and it also runs a station on Rodrigues.
