TV channels Bolivia
Bolivian television concentrates its whole story in a handful of signals: a state broadcaster, several commercial networks from La Paz, a sports spin-off and a rare case of round-the-clock religious television.
The state signal and the commercial networks
Bolivia TV is the state channel of the country, on air as Canal 7 from La Paz and carrying the national public service. Its second signal Bolivia TV 7.2 extends the offer with sports and general programming. The commercial field starts with Canal Red Uno - one of the leading national networks with series, movies, sports and news - and ATB Digital, which carries the mix of news, entertainment and national programming of the ATB network. Cadena A and PAT Digital - the television service of PAT Bolivia - add their own generalist grids, and Megavision brings Bolivian national programming from the heart of South America.
News and national coverage
Bilivisión represents news broadcasting, while RED Gigavision works as a national channel with news, entertainment and coverage for viewers both in Bolivia and abroad. UPP TV - part of the Bolivian branch of the Albavisión media group - combines series, shows, news and sports.
Community and faith on air
Abya Yala TV carries Latin American and Caribbean community content. The religious field is represented by RedADvenir Television - the 24-hour Christian network of Red ADvenir Internacional, an Adventist media ministry founded in 2002 by Pastor David Gates and headquartered in Santa Cruz de la Sierra - alongside Canal Palenque TV with local programming for its region.
