TV8 Live Stream

TV8 is the channel Lithuanian television built for its female audience. Launched on 3 October 2011 by the Viasat broadcasting group as a companion to TV3, it set out to own the evening of Lithuania's women - and it largely has.

The schedule is designed around her day. The daytime hours belong to telenovelas and drama series, the lifestyle programs on health, cooking, home and relationships. Prime time moves to feature films and the international series the channel picks for its audience. Turkish, German, Indian and Mexican drama sit alongside the local productions, and there is Nickelodeon content for the children watching with their mothers.

Her Prime Time

The channel's best-known slot is the evening film - romantic dramas, comedies and thrillers chosen for the women who make up its core audience. It is programming built on a simple insight: that Lithuania's women deserved a channel of their own.

TV8 belongs today to the TV3 Group, owned by Providence Equity Partners, broadcasting free to air from the group's Vilnius headquarters alongside its sisters TV3, TV6 and TV3 Plus. It switched to high definition in 2018.
