RTV 1 Live Stream

Novi Sad sits on the Danube, the capital of a province where a dozen languages are spoken on the same streets. RTV 1 is the flagship channel of Radio Television of Vojvodina - the public broadcaster of Serbia's northern province, and one of the most multilingual public services in Europe.

The broadcaster's roots go back to 1949, when Radio Novi Sad first went on air; it took its current form on 26 May 2006 as the unified Radio Television of Vojvodina. Its first channel carries the main grid: the evening news program Dnevnik, current-affairs talk, and the minority-language editions that make RTV unique - Hungarian, Slovak, Croatian, Romanian, Rusyn and Romani programming alongside the Serbian.

Vojvodina is a province of minorities, and RTV 1 is built to serve all of them. Between the news come cultural programs, documentaries about the province, children's shows and music - the public service of a region that has always been many communities at once.

Broadcasting from its Novi Sad headquarters, RTV 1 reaches the province's viewers in their own languages - the public broadcaster of a province like no other.
