TV Monaco (TVMonaco) is the public general-interest television channel of the Principality of Monaco, inaugurated on 1 September 2023 by Prince Albert II in the presence of Princess Charlène. Funded by the Monegasque state, the channel exists to project Monaco and the Riviera to an international audience, promoting the territory's news, culture, events and art of living.

The Principality's new voice

The channel emerged from a project first developed in 2021 — initially called Monte-Carlo Riviera — to restore a Principality-owned broadcaster after the old Télé Monte-Carlo passed fully into the hands of the TF1 group. A partner channel of TV5 Monde, TV Monaco produces dozens of original programmes a year across daily, weekly and documentary formats, and operates through Monaco Média Diffusion, which represents the Principality at the European Broadcasting Union — where the channel has been a full member since March 2024.

On every screen

TV Monaco is broadcast locally on DTT channel 35, and by satellite across continental Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, as well as on its digital platforms, mobile applications and live stream. Its editorial line is deliberately broader and more international than the Principality's proximity channel Monaco Info, carrying Monaco's image beyond its frontiers.
