ntv Live Stream

Ask an Albanian where they get their news and "NTV" comes up quickly. The channel - known to older viewers as Neser TV, "Tomorrow TV" - has been on air since 1998, long enough to have watched Albania change beyond recognition.

It started in the chaotic years after the pyramid-scheme collapse, when Albanian television was young and anyone with a transmitter could open a channel. Most of those channels are gone. NTV survived, quietly building a newsroom that covers Albanian politics, society and daily life in Albanian, for Albanians.

Surviving the Nineties

The channel's grid is the familiar rhythm of a national broadcaster: news editions through the day, current-affairs talk in the evening, the programs that fill the hours between. What sets it apart is the archive - nearly three decades of Albanian public life on tape, from the country's turbulent transition to its EU candidate years.

Tomorrow's Name

The old name, Neser, means "tomorrow" - a forward-looking choice for a channel that outlasted most of its generation. Today it broadcasts around the clock on Albanian networks and streams live on ntv.al, reaching the country and the large Albanian diaspora in Italy, Greece and beyond.
