Andes Television Live Stream
Andes Television - Andes TV - is the television service of Radio Sicuani, a Peruvian media corporation working from Sicuani in the Cusco region. The channel broadcasts on channel 21 free-to-air and on channel 43 on cable, and it is followed online through its live stream.
One corporation, several signals
Radio Sicuani describes itself as 'una sola corporación, varias señales' - one corporation, several signals - and lists its services plainly: Radio Sicuani on 1360 AM and 94.7 FM, Andes TV on channels 21 and 43, and Radio Santo Tomás on 105.3 FM. The grouping reflects how local media works in the Peruvian highlands: a single organisation serves a province through radio, which reaches everywhere, and television, which reaches the towns.
A mountain audience
Sicuani sits at around 3,500 metres in the Andes, on the route between Cusco and Lake Titicaca, in a province where Quechua is widely spoken alongside Spanish. A local broadcaster there serves communities scattered across high valleys and puna, and its programming mixes Christian content with the local news, music and messages that hold a rural audience.
What the channel carries
Andes TV's output is religious in character, with services, preaching and teaching, together with the music and community programming that the corporation's radio stations are known for. The channel publishes its signals and an official app through the Radio Sicuani site, and it streams online for viewers beyond the province.
