Kontra Channel Live Stream

Kontra Channel is an independent Greek television station broadcasting news and politics from its base in Tavros, Athens - a private regional channel with a national following.

The channel's story began in 1994 as TeleFOS, a station devoted to ecology, healthy lifestyle and alternative medicine; over the decades it evolved into the political-news broadcaster it is today.

Independent News and Politics

Kontra's programming is built on news, discussion and analysis of current events - in-depth coverage and debate that earned the channel a reputation for independent reporting in the crowded Athenian media landscape.

From Attica to All Greece

The channel broadcasts terrestrially in digital format from thirteen transmission centres across Attica and Evia, and nationally through the NOVA satellite platform - reaching viewers from the capital to every corner of Greece.
