Channel WIN Live Stream

Channel WIN - Message of Humanity - is an Urdu-language Islamic channel working from Mumbai under WIN TV Pvt. Its motto sets the tone: the message it carries is addressed to people rather than to a community alone.

What the channel carries

The schedule is built on the forms of Indian Shia religious life: majalis and the recitation that accompanies them, lectures by scholars, and teaching on doctrine and practice. Two strands give the channel its character - Ramazan and Muharram programming produced for those seasons, and an educational series teaching Farsi, Aap Main Aur Farsi, presented by Sayed Ata Abbas in twenty episodes.

More than broadcasting

The site's sections run beyond the schedule: an education programme, a trust, activities, donations and advertising. That structure - a channel that funds a trust and treats education as part of its religious work - is characteristic of community broadcasters in India, where the media arm supports the institution rather than the other way round.

Watching

Channel WIN broadcasts in standard definition and streams through the pishow.tv platform, with a live section and programme pages on its site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
