Nation TV Live Stream

Nation TV, เนชั่นทีวี, is the first twenty-four-hour news television channel in Thailand. It is owned by Nation TV Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nation Group, the Thai media organisation behind the country's business daily and its online outlets.

From Nation Channel to Nation TV

The service launched in 2000 as Nation Channel on the UBC platform, now TrueVisions, on channel 8. On 1 May 2003 it left UBC and moved to the Tai TV platform, broadcasting via MMDS on channel 1.

Its move to digital came through the 2013 licence auction: on 27 December 2013 NBC Next Vision won the auction for a digital news channel on channel 22. On 17 March 2014 the name changed to Nation TV with a more modern logo, and on 1 April 2014 the channel began broadcasting on digital terrestrial television through the TV5 multiplex. A further identity change on 1 January 2015 introduced the letter N in a circle above the name, and the station adopted the 16:9 aspect ratio used by the country's digital broadcasters.

Thai rolling news and talk

The schedule is built on rolling news, with bulletins through the day covering Thai politics, the economy, the courts, the monarchy and international affairs, together with talk programmes, analysis and documentary strands. Business coverage draws on the group's newspaper heritage.

Distribution

Nation TV broadcasts on digital terrestrial television and by satellite and cable, and streams continuously through nationtv.tv, where the live player sits alongside the newsroom's written output. The channel's programmes are also published on YouTube and social platforms.
