Canal 33 Tijuana Live Stream

Canal 33 Tijuana is a regional television service focused on news and sports from Baja California. Its current corporate profile describes Canal 33 as a source of information and sports for the region, with programming that balances timely reporting with entertainment. The channel’s Tijuana identity has also appeared as Canal 33.2 in materials from its parent broadcaster, Grupo Intermedia.

A regional focus

The broadcaster’s reception map names Tijuana, Tecate and Rosarito in Baja California, as well as San Diego and Los Angeles. That regional outlook shapes the station’s coverage of local events, public affairs and stories that matter to communities on both sides of the border. Its stated role combines regional reporting with service to viewers interested in the wider Tijuana area.

News, sport and entertainment

Canal 33 presents itself as a news channel while also maintaining a broader programme schedule. The corporate profile says its daily line up brings together immediate news and entertainment, and it highlights sports coverage as part of the channel’s regional identity. This mix connects day to day reporting with stories about local teams, community life and entertainment from Baja California.

Noticiero Contacto and Tijuana reporting

The channel’s early Tijuana news output included Noticiero Contacto, the first bulletin devoted entirely to the city. It began in February 2023 with Eduardo Villalugo and Stephany López. A morning edition followed later that year with Yolanda Caballero and Omar Camarillo. These launches mark the development of dedicated local reporting within the channel’s schedule.

From Canal 33.2 to Canal 33

Grupo Intermedia says the Tijuana service began broadcasting on November 4, 2022, under the Canal 33.2 name. It first carried Tijuana stories within broader programmes before developing a full news bulletin for the city and opening production facilities in Tijuana. The current corporate profile uses the shorter Canal 33 name, while the regional newsroom remains closely associated with Tijuana and northern Baja California.
