Arirang UN Live Stream

Arirang UN is the companion channel of Arirang TV, South Korea's international broadcasting service. Operated by the Korea International Broadcasting Foundation from Seoul, it complements the main Arirang TV channel with additional English-language programming aimed at a global audience.

Part of the Arirang family

Arirang TV is South Korea's state-linked international broadcaster, presenting news and programmes on Korean politics, economy and culture from a Korean perspective. The foundation's stated mission — "Korea for the World, the World for Korea" — guides the whole network, and its services reach viewers in more than 130 countries, with the newsroom based in Seoul.

A second screen for global coverage

Where the flagship Arirang TV channel mixes news with talk shows, documentaries and K-culture programming, the second channel gives the broadcaster room for extended international coverage: global affairs, multilateral diplomacy and in-depth reports that sit alongside the main channel's schedule. The "UN" in its name reflects that outward-looking, global-institutions orientation.

Together, the channels form one of Asia's most established international broadcasting operations, giving English-speaking viewers a direct line into how South Korea sees itself and the wider world.
