Canal Metropolitano de Noticias Live Stream

Canal Metropolitano de Noticias is a Brazilian news television channel serving a metropolitan region - the sprawling urban area where most of the country's population now lives. From that base it carries the news of the city and its surroundings in Portuguese, around the clock.

The Metropolis on Screen

The channel's journalism is built around the big urban area it serves: the city hall and the state government, the transport and the traffic, the public services and the security, the schools and the hospitals - the machinery of a metropolis, reported on daily. The grid mixes local news editions with talk programs and community reporting, giving the region's residents a screen of their own.

Between the news blocks the channel carries interviews with the people who run the city, documentary and magazine formats on urban life, and coverage of the events that fill a big city's calendar. When the metropolis has a big story - a storm, a strike, a political fight - the channel follows it live.

The Region's Own Channel

Canal Metropolitano de Noticias is local television for the urban age: a newsroom that knows the metropolitan region because it works in it, covering the stories that the national networks pass over. Its reporters file from the districts and the suburbs, and its presenters are familiar faces to the region's viewers.

Broadcasting online via its canalmetropolitanotv.com platform, the channel reaches its audience across the region and beyond - the news of the metropolis, live, every day.
