India TV Live Stream

India TV is one of India's leading Hindi-language news channels, based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and launched on 20 May 2004 by journalist Rajat Sharma and his wife Ritu Dhawan. The channel operates as a subsidiary of Independent News Service, the media company the couple co-founded in 1997.

Aap Ki Adalat: the signature format

The channel's best-known programme is Aap Ki Adalat — Rajat Sharma's interview show in which politicians and public figures face direct questioning. It began in 1993 on Zee TV and moved with Sharma to India TV in 2004, making it the longest-running reality show in Indian television history. Sharma, the channel's chairman and editor-in-chief, received the Padma Bhushan — one of India's highest civilian awards — in 2015.

Rounding news and election specials

Viewers follow India TV for national news, Indian politics, elections, crime and current affairs. Its schedule pairs rolling news bulletins with live political formats such as Kahani Kursi Ki and election-night specials, and the channel underwent a rebranding in February 2022. Its newsroom also publishes through the portal indiatvnews.com.
