Al Rayyan Al Qadeem TV Live Stream

Al Rayyan Al Qadeem is a separate Qatari television service offered by Al Rayyan Media and Marketing alongside the main Al Rayyan channel. The company’s stated mission centres on Qatar’s local identity, heritage, traditions and culture. The “Al Qadeem” service is associated with older television material and archive programming, preserving productions from earlier eras for today’s viewers.

Archive programmes and documentaries

Its archive includes classic Qatari television. A 2020 listing in the Qatar newspaper Al Arab identified Hatha Al-Masaa (This Evening), a programme produced in 1986, in the channel’s schedule. The service has also commissioned newer archive-focused documentaries: Min Tarikh Al-Riyada (From Sports History), launched in 2022, traced the beginnings of football in Qatar. Sports broadcaster Mohammed Nuh Al-Mutawa presented the series and interviewed guests who helped shape the country’s football history.

Al Rayyan Media’s website links viewers to both its main channel and Al Rayyan Al Qadeem. The Qatar News Agency also lists the channel on its live-streaming page. Online access can vary by platform, and the channel’s web player may not be available in every location.

Qatari heritage on television

From older entertainment and documentaries to retrospectives on sport, Al Rayyan Al Qadeem keeps local television history in circulation. Its archive offers a view of Qatar’s changing cultural life, while special productions connect that past with present-day audiences.
