SET iNEWS (三立iNEWS) is a 24-hour news channel of Sanlih E-Television (SET), Taiwan's major commercial broadcaster. Together with sister channel SET News, it delivers comprehensive Taiwanese news coverage.

Viewers follow SET iNEWS for breaking Taiwanese news - politics, cross-strait affairs, society, international stories, business and entertainment - with its iNEWS finance strand covering the Taiwan stock market and the channel's 24-hour live streams.

SET's Fifth Channel

Sanlih E-Television, the cable group founded in 1993 by the three partners whose "three establishments" gave the company its name, launched this channel on 3 May 2011 as SET Finance - its fifth service, with the news channel SET News as its sister. After the group's expansion through cable, MOD and high-definition broadcasting, the channel was renamed SET iNEWS on 26 June 2017, keeping its finance DNA while widening into a full news and current-affairs service. Today it reaches around 2.7 million cable households on channel 48.

Programmes and Presenters

The finance core remains: 錢進漲停板 broadcasts the live stock-market desk each weekday morning, while evening strands follow the money and the world - iNEWS錢進大頭條, iNEWS大世界 and Catch! 大錢潮 with Wang Chih-yu. Political conversation has its own names: 關我什麼事 with Chen Fei-chuan and the long-running talk show 鄭知道了 with Cheng Hung-i, one of Taiwan's most influential hosts, which ran from 2018 to 2023.

Between them, hourly iNEWS整點新聞 bulletins and the morning 早安新鮮聞 keep the channel's news rolling, in a studio known since 2017 for its giant vertical video wall - Taiwan's largest.
