From wPolsce.pl to wPolsce24

The channel began broadcasting on 19 June 2017 under the name wPolsce.pl, owned by the Fratria group, with Agata Rowińska as editor-in-chief for its first seven years; since 2024 the post has been held by Jacek Karnowski. Distribution grew from Polsat Box to Play, Netia, Vectra and the T-Mobile television offer, and 4K quality arrived on 5 March 2019.

On 2 September 2024 the station changed its name to wPolsce24 and started terrestrial broadcasting on the eighth digital multiplex, next to Telewizja Republika, while its website became a full news portal. The terrestrial licence was later contested in the administrative courts - a legal battle that continued into 2025.
