Awaaz India TV Live Stream

Awaaz India TV is a Hindi-language news channel whose name carries its purpose: "Awaaz" means voice. The broadcaster's stated vision is to become the "Voice of the Nation", and its editorial identity is built around giving a platform to communities it considers under-represented in Indian television news.

A Bahujan platform

The channel's mission sets out its agenda: mobilising what it calls the noble minds of the country in the cause of liberty, equality and fraternity; providing a platform for the Bahujans — India's Dalit, Adivasi and other backward communities — to voice their opinions and express their cultural ethos; and presenting what the broadcaster describes as the true "unity in diversity" of the nation rather than the culture portrayed by a single social segment. That positioning places Awaaz India TV in a distinct strand of Hindi news, closer to social-movement journalism than to mainstream commercial broadcasting.

Bulletins and debate across the Hindi belt

The channel's grid combines rolling news bulletins with current-affairs and debate programmes covering national politics, social-justice questions, state affairs and the concerns of ordinary viewers across the Hindi belt. Its signal is distributed through Indian streaming platforms, and the broadcaster maintains an active online newsroom carrying bulletins and reports to a following measured in the millions.
