ANB News is a Hindi-language Indian news channel on air around the clock, and it pitches itself as a voice for people who have no one to speak for them: sharp questions put to those in power, blunt conversation, day and night. That positioning shapes a schedule of bulletins, state-level reporting and studio discussion rather than a single flagship bulletin.
A newsroom built around the states
Much of the channel's output is organised state by state, and that is where its identity sits. Its newsroom files regularly from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi and Punjab, alongside a national desk and a world section.
In practice this means district-level administration, crime and police action, welfare schemes, local elections and the kind of constituency stories that national networks usually compress into a single line. The channel's coverage of Punjab is especially dense: cabinet expansion and party politics in Chandigarh, drug-enforcement drives, police operations against gang networks, and the run-up to the Hero Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament hosted in the state in 2026.
Debate, bulletins and the AAP Ki Baat brand
The channel's most visible studio property is AAP Ki Baat, a discussion format that carries the slogan into its title and gives the schedule a nightly argumentative spine alongside the rolling news blocks. Around it sit the usual furniture of an Indian news channel: breaking-news windows, political interviews, business and health segments, sports updates, entertainment and crime reporting, plus a continuous live feed that runs through the day.
Politicians from the governing parties and the opposition appear in the same studio, and the channel's own framing is combative rather than ceremonial - questions are put directly, and the tone is closer to a public argument than to a formal briefing.
Distribution and a Punjabi sibling
ANB News reaches viewers through India's direct-to-home platforms, where it is carried by Airtel and Tata Play, and its own listings give the channel positions 356 and 1927 respectively. Since July 2026 the channel has also been available free-to-air on the G-Sat 30 satellite at 83 degrees east, transmitting in C-band - a footprint that covers a far wider area than the DTH subscriptions alone.
The broadcaster has extended the brand beyond Hindi as well: ANB Punjab is a separate Punjabi-language service that covers the state's politics, agriculture, sport and cultural calendar, from the Chief Minister's campaigns to gurpurab invitations and municipal stories - giving the network a second linguistic audience in the same region.
