GCN America online - Television live
GCN America Live Stream
GCN America is the English-language service that Global Christian Network operates for viewers in the United States. Its schedule pairs Bible teaching recorded at Manmin Central Church in Seoul with worship, prayer and testimony programmes, and with productions from American ministries that deal with faith, family life and current affairs. Programming runs around the clock.
Sermons and lecture series from Seoul
Teaching anchors the grid. Words of Life carries sermons by Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee of Manmin Central Church, a congregation of some 100,000 members in Seoul, and is built as an exploration of Scripture rather than a conventional preaching slot. Two long-running lecture series work through whole books of the Bible: Lecture on Genesis and Lecture on Revelation, numbered episode by episode. Flesh and Spirit, an HD sermon series drawn from the same pulpit, examines the spirit, the soul and the flesh as the components of the human heart.
Further doctrinal series fill the weekday hours. The Original Voice follows the book Thunder the Original Voice by Dr. Lee and treats God the Trinity, God’s righteousness, faith and obedience, setting that teaching alongside testimonies. Heaven, Spiritual Beings and The Providence in the Creation of the Heavens and the Earth continue in the same register.
Prayer, worship and the weekly services
Prayer for the sick holds a fixed morning and afternoon place in the day. Music comes through Power Praise, recorded at Manmin Church and led by worship leader Rev. Soojin Lee, and through the Praise & Worship series, while each broadcasting day opens with worship. The three weekly services of the church — the Sunday morning service, the Sunday evening service and the Friday all-night service — are carried in full, with air times listed for New York, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Honolulu and Seoul.
American ministries on the lineup
Producers from the United States supply a second strand of the schedule. The A.R. Bernard Show is a weekly news magazine in which pastor and author A. R. Bernard comments on current events, public figures and cultural trends from a biblical standpoint; the New York Daily News numbered him among the most influential clergymen in New York in 2008. CrossTalk, on air since 1994, is hosted by Randy Weiss, founder of the CrossTalk International Ministry Alliance, and reports on ministries at work from Ghana to Papua New Guinea and Poland. Today with God presents the Visual Bible in 37 half-hour episodes and a one-hour premiere built around the question of who Jesus is.
Influence Living, made by Bruce and Wade Mumm in Orlando, Florida, combines interviews, feature stories and teaching in a weekly half-hour. Real Life 101 introduces young viewers to people at work — doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, career counsellors, special-effects technicians — with hosts Christie and Shawn. WCDN gives air time to the World Christian Doctors Network, an interdenominational body of physicians that collects and publishes accounts of healing through the prayer of faith and whose annual conferences the programme covers. The Way of the Master, Great American Gospel, the American Heritage Series, Adventures in Odyssey and Dr. Wonder’s Workshop also appear in the grid.
Testimony and the network behind the channel
We Are GCN gathers four segments — Opening a Day with the Word, Family Testimony, Global Testimony and Christian Life — into a weekday strip of testimonies and short teachings, while Overseas Crusades follows the church’s meetings abroad. Global Christian Network runs the American service from its headquarters in Guro-gu, Seoul, and operates a separate Korean-language feed alongside it.
