Bonaire.tv is a Bonaire-based online television channel dedicated to the history, culture and nature of the island — “Historia, Kultura y Naturalesa”, as its bilingual masthead puts it. Operating in Papiamentu, it documents life on Bonaire through interviews, documentaries and news reports, establishing itself as a video platform focused specifically on the island's heritage and identity.

Documenting Bonaire's heritage

The channel's archive is built around long-running Papiamentu formats. Fuhikubo presents in-depth interviews with Bonairean personalities, while Herensia, the heritage strand, records the memories of older islanders. The documentary series AkiBoneiru (“here on Bonaire”) has covered subjects ranging from the island's Dia di Mama celebrations and the Dia di Rincon festivities to a special programme produced during the Covid-19 pandemic and moments from Bonaire's past.
