Yle TV1 Live Stream

Yle TV1 is the flagship channel of Yle, Finland's public broadcasting company, on air since 1958 with news, drama, documentaries and national events. Finns who watch TV online can follow the channel live around the clock.

Finland's First Channel

Yle TV1 is the oldest television service in Finland, tracing its line back to the first regular broadcasts of the 1950s. As the flagship of the public broadcaster, it carries the programs that define national moments: the main news editions, the biggest dramas, major sports and the ceremonial broadcasts that gather the whole country.

Breakfast to the Presidential Palace

The morning opens with breakfast television mixing news, weather and conversation. Daytime carries series and lifestyle programs, while the evening belongs to Yle Uutiset, the main television news, and the current-affairs program A-studio. Prime time features Finnish and international drama, documentaries and entertainment and major sports events on weekends.

News, Drama and a December Ritual

The grid combines daily news and current affairs with Finnish drama series that regularly top the ratings, documentary strands and children's programming in the early evening. The channel's most-watched tradition is the broadcast of the Independence Day Reception from the Presidential Palace each December, a national ritual followed by millions.

Presenters and Newsroom

Anchors are among Finland's most trusted journalists, presenting Yle Uutiset from the Helsinki studios. Drama and documentary productions come from Yle's own teams and Finland's independent producers.

Suomi, Live Since 1958

Yle TV1 live streaming keeps the country's first channel within reach on any screen - live television from Helsinki, from breakfast television to the Independence Day Reception.
