3AW Live Stream

Every Melbourne morning starts the same way for a lot of people: the radio goes on, and it is on 3AW. The station on 693 AM has been the city's soundtrack since 1932 - the news, the talk and the arguments that Melbourne runs on.

The Breakfast Institution

3AW is talk radio in the Australian tradition: big-name presenters, phone lines open to the public, and a newsroom that covers the city closely. The breakfast and morning programs set Melbourne's agenda - the politicians know they have to answer to them - and the afternoons and evenings carry the sport and the conversation. When Melbourne has a big story, 3AW is where the city argues about it.

The station's presenters over the decades have been among the most famous voices in Australian radio, and its hold on Melbourne's morning is a fixture of the city's life - the ratings leader, year after year.

Ninety Years of the City

Founded in 1932, the station is one of Australia's oldest and most successful. It belongs today to Nine Radio - the radio arm of Nine Entertainment. Its reach is Melbourne's: the city, the suburbs and the state of Victoria beyond. For Melburnians who have moved away, the stream is a piece of home: the city's own voice, live, from 693 AM.
