Rustavi 2 Live Stream

Rustavi 2 is Georgia's leading private television channel, broadcasting from Tbilisi since 1994 with news, talk shows and entertainment. The country's most-watched broadcaster for much of its history, it can be followed live by viewers who watch TV online on Georgian streaming platforms.

Georgia's First Private Broadcaster

Rustavi 2 took its name from the industrial city where it began and grew into the channel that shaped modern Georgian television. Independent and often combative, it played a central role in the country's public life, and its news and entertainment formats have dominated Georgian ratings for decades.

The Day on Air

The schedule is anchored by Kurieri, the flagship evening news program covering Georgian and world events. Morning hours bring information and talk programs, daytime carries series and lifestyle magazines, and prime time features the channel's entertainment shows, comedy productions and political talk formats.

Programs and Formats

Alongside Kurieri, the grid mixes political talk shows that drive the national debate with comedy sketch programs, talent and music formats and Georgian and international series. Major events — elections, national celebrations, football — bring extended live coverage from the channel's Tbilisi studios.

Journalists and Presenters

The channel's journalists and anchors are among the best-known faces in Georgia, fronting the news and the prime-time talk shows. Rustavi 2's newsroom has long been a training ground for Georgian television journalism.
