Al-Aimma TV Live Stream

Al-Aimma TV - قناة الأئمة المرئية, the visual channel of the Imams - is an Iraqi Shia broadcaster that describes its work as purposeful media, inspired by the path of the Ahl al-Bayt. It broadcasts in Arabic and is followed online through its live stream.

A stated mission

The channel sets out its purpose plainly on its site: media with an aim, drawing its message from the school of the Prophet's family rather than from entertainment. Its schedule follows from that - lectures and sermons on doctrine and practice, teaching on the lives of the twelve Imams, Quranic recitation and commentary, and coverage of the religious occasions as they fall.

Its place among Iraqi channels

Iraq's Shia broadcasters divide roughly between the shrine channels, the party-affiliated services and the independent religious stations, and Al-Aimma belongs to the last group: a small channel with a clear teaching remit rather than the media arm of an institution. That allows it to concentrate on instruction, which is what it announces as its purpose.

Watching

Al-Aimma TV broadcasts in standard definition by satellite and streams from its own server at alaimma.tv, with a live section and links to its social accounts on the site. Its programmes are also published on its video channel.
