Aastha Tamil Live Stream

Aastha Tamil is the Tamil-language service of Aastha TV, the devotional network of Vedic Broadcasting Limited that began broadcasting in 2000. It carries the Aastha format into Tamil for viewers in Tamil Nadu and the diaspora.

What the channel carries

The schedule follows the network's pattern in Tamil: bhajans and devotional song, pravachan with teachers of the Tamil tradition, temple programmes and the yoga and Ayurveda material that has become Aastha's signature. The Tamil devotional repertoire - the Thevaram hymns, the songs of the Alvars and Nayanars, Carnatic compositions - gives the service its local character.

Aastha's health and faith formula

Aastha's association with the Patanjali organisation and Acharya Balkrishna places yoga and Ayurveda at the centre of its programming rather than at the margins, and the Tamil service carries that approach: the body and the spirit are treated as one subject, and the channel's teaching addresses both.

Watching

Aastha Tamil broadcasts in standard definition on Indian platforms and streams through the SmartPlay TV infrastructure used by the network, with its programmes also published on the network's video channels.
