TV Universal Ecuador Live Stream

TV Universal Ecuador is the television service of the Iglesia Universal del Reino de Dios in Ecuador, broadcasting in Spanish around the clock. The church describes the channel as a space for discussing questions of social relevance with active participation from the public, and carries its services and teaching throughout the day.

The church itself began on 9 July 1977, when Edir Macedo opened the first meeting in a former funeral parlour in Rio de Janeiro. It now works in more than 174 countries, and has been present in Ecuador for almost twenty years.

From a Cinema to the National Seat

The first Ecuadorian congregation opened in 1994 inside a cinema on Calle Luque, between Seis de Marzo and Pedro Moncayo, in Quito. As attendance grew the church moved to the Olmedo cinema on Ayacucho and Noguchi, then to the former Tauro cinema at Quito and Luque.

Today the church maintains a presence in more than 84 cities, with its national seat on Avenida de Las Américas 305, a building with seating for four thousand people.

Services and Prayer

The channel carries the church's meetings, including the Culto Racional held at the national seat, and chains of prayer in which viewers are invited to join. Teaching sessions explain the church's understanding of faith, deliverance and prosperity, and testimonies from members form a regular part of the output.

Health and Social Work

Social initiatives appear on air alongside the religious programming. The Grupo Salud Universal organises health fairs and medical attention in communities, and events such as the Feria Zanahoria have drawn several thousand visitors.

Where to Watch

TV Universal Ecuador streams through the Red Aleluya application, which carries the channel alongside the church's radio stations, and publishes recordings on its YouTube channel.
