Middle East TV Live Stream
Middle East Television, known as METV, is a Christian satellite network based in Limassol, Cyprus. It began in 1981 in Lebanon and was acquired by the Christian Broadcasting Network in 1982, a connection that shaped its early years and its reputation across the region, where its terrestrial signal carried into northern Israel.
The station's origins lie in radio: The Voice of Hope went on air in September 1979 as an initiative of the High Adventure ministry led by George Otis, broadcasting from Marj Ayon. A television channel called Star of Hope followed in 1981, with broadcasts formally inaugurated that October, and the service later evolved into METV.
Ministry Programming
Teaching and preaching form the core of the schedule, drawn from international ministries and from the region. Regular slots include Sid Roth – It's Supernatural, David Jeremiah, In Touch with Dr Charles Stanley, Joel Osteen, The 700 Club, School of Ministry and ISN Mentoring programming.
Other strands bring prophetic and healing ministries to air, among them Night Visions with Charles Fox, Show Me Your Glory with Robert Henderson, Manna Fest with Perry Stone and The Awakening with Joshua and Dee Giles.
News from Israel
ILTV supplies English-language news from Israel, with the weekly review and daily bulletins covering politics, security and society. Jerusalem Dateline adds analysis of events in the region from a Christian perspective.
Family and Entertainment
METV deliberately mixes religious output with general entertainment. Children's slots include Superbook, Gina D, Pet Playhouse and Bible Stories for Children, while classic films and series from American television fill the evenings alongside live NFL coverage during the season.
