Telesur Live Stream

Telesur, styled teleSUR, is a Latin American satellite news channel based in Caracas, Venezuela. It was founded in 2005 as a multi-state initiative involving Venezuela, Cuba and other governments, and it broadcasts in Spanish, English and Portuguese to audiences across the region and beyond.

Editorial Line

The channel describes its mission as providing an alternative to what it calls the dominant media narrative, with coverage that emphasises the perspectives of Latin American governments and social movements. Its reporting focuses on politics, the economy, social movements and international relations from a regional standpoint.

News bulletins run through the day, supplemented by interviews, documentaries and analysis programmes that examine a single subject in depth.

Distribution

Telesur is carried by satellite across Latin America and streams continuously over the internet, with separate feeds for its language services. The live signal is available on phones and computers, and the channel publishes video reports on its website and social platforms.

Access

The channel is available through its own platforms and appears in international listings of Spanish-language news services, with its English and Portuguese feeds reaching audiences outside the Spanish-speaking world.
