BBS Live Stream

BBS — the Bhutan Broadcasting Service — is the national broadcaster of Bhutan: the television voice of the Himalayan kingdom since 1999.

The Kingdom's National Broadcaster

The grid is Bhutan in Dzongkha and English: national news and current affairs, coverage of royal and state events, cultural and religious programming from the land of Gross National Happiness, and entertainment for the kingdom's viewers.

Television Comes to the Himalayas

Bhutan was famously the last country on Earth to allow television — in 1999, when the king himself launched BBS; a quarter-century later it remains the kingdom's window on itself and the world.

Watching Online

The broadcaster streams on bbs.bt, so anyone who wants to watch Bhutanese national television online follows Thimphu's grid from anywhere.
