The Young Turks is an American progressive news and commentary programme, and the flagship of the TYT Network, a group of associated web series covering news and current events. It was created in 2002 by Cenk Uygur, Ben Mankiewicz and Dave Koller, and it is co-hosted by Uygur and Ana Kasparian with other contributors in the studio.

The programme began as a radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio on 14 February 2002, added a web component on YouTube in 2005 and later moved onto Twitch; at one point it was also carried on Air America. It is now available on YouTube, Twitch, Amazon Prime Direct and a number of television channels.

Output

The main programme covers American politics, wars and international conflicts, sport, popular culture and a wide range of other subjects, presented from a progressive and left-wing populist standpoint. The network's line-up includes The Damage Report with John Iadarola and Indisputable, and the channel carries these programmes around the clock.

Access

The Young Turks streams continuously over the internet, delivered by the Amagi platform to connected televisions and streaming services in high definition with English captions, alongside the programme's own YouTube and Twitch channels.
