Payvand TV Live Stream

Payvand TV is a Persian-language channel that broadcasts in Persian and English and addresses Iranians at home and abroad. Its programming deals with faith, mysticism, heritage and social justice, and it presents cultural discussion as its main form.

The channel's name means connection in Persian, and the idea runs through its output: programmes examine the relationship between religious tradition and modern life, between the Persian cultural inheritance and the diaspora, and between communities divided by borders and politics.

Programming

The schedule mixes talk formats with documentary and cultural material. Studio discussions bring scholars, writers and community figures together to examine a subject at length, and recorded features cover historical sites, poetry, music and the crafts that form part of the Persian heritage tradition.

Mystical and devotional subjects are treated separately from current affairs, with programmes on Sufi thought and on the ethical questions of religious life. Social justice appears as a recurring theme, framed in terms of the individual's responsibility to the community.

Access

Payvand TV streams continuously from the Bozztv playout network at 1280 by 720 pixels and just under sixty frames per second, and it is carried by satellite and online platforms for Persian-speaking audiences.
