Blaze Live online - Television live
Blaze Live Live Stream
Blaze Live is the streaming channel of Blaze Media, the American conservative media company owned by Mercury Radio Arts, the production company of the talk host Glenn Beck. The company was formed in 2018 through the merger of TheBlaze and CRTV LLC, is led by chief executive Tyler Cardon, and works from studios in Irving, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
Background
TheBlaze began as a pay television network founded by Glenn Beck. It was first called Glenn Beck TV, created after his departure from Fox News Channel in 2011, and took the name of Beck's website in 2012. CRTV LLC, which operated Conservative Review and Conservative Review Television, was an online subscription network; the two were combined to form the present company.
The Blaze website had been launched on 31 August 2010, three days after Beck's Restoring Honor rally at the Lincoln Memorial, as an alternative to what he described as mainstream media outlets, and the television operation followed on 12 September 2011 as GBTV.
Opinion and talk from the studio
Blaze Live carries opinion and talk programming from the company's studios: political commentary, interviews and discussion of American current affairs from a conservative standpoint. The free channel runs continuously and acts as a window on the wider subscription service, BlazeTV, which holds the full schedule and archive.
Distribution
Blaze Live is distributed through free streaming platforms, among them Pluto TV, and through the company's own applications and website. The Pluto feed delivers the channel over the internet with adaptive bitrate and optional English subtitles for viewers on televisions, phones and tablets.
