France 24 English Live Stream

France 24 English is the English-language edition of France's international news channel, on air since the network's launch on 6 December 2006 and operated by the state-owned France Médias Monde from Paris. It broadcasts around the clock to viewers in North America, Asia and Africa, offering world news with a French perspective.

Viewers follow France 24 English for rolling world news, French and European analysis and its global network of correspondents.

The Schedule

The day is anchored by rolling news bulletins and the flagship debate show The Debate, hosted from Paris with international guests. Eye on Africa covers the African continent, Tech 24 reports on technology, and Business rounds out the specialized coverage with markets and economics.

Magazine strands include The 51%, devoted to women's rights and gender issues, and France in Focus, a weekly look at French politics and society.

One Newsroom, Four Languages

The English service has been part of France 24 since the network's first broadcast on 6 December 2006, extending its reach to English-speaking audiences. It is produced from the same Paris newsroom at Issy-les-Moulineaux as the French edition, sharing correspondents worldwide; the network's channels broadcast in French, English, Arabic and Spanish.

Wholly state-owned since 2008, when the French government bought out the former minority partners TF1 and France Télévisions, France 24 works with around 260 journalists of its own and draws on the resources of AFP, RFI and the two main French broadcasters.
