TV channels Palestine
Palestinian television maps the territory's own geography: satellite broadcasting from Gaza, a local station from the West Bank city of Tulkarm, and a Palestinian news service.
Gaza and Satellite Television
Al Aqsa TV is the Gaza-based television channel run by Hamas, carrying news alongside religiously inspired programming and entertainment, and named after Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem. Al-Quds TV is the Palestinian satellite news channel of the list, built around coverage of Palestinian affairs, talk shows and cultural programming for Arabic-speaking viewers.
West Bank Local Stations
Fajer TV - Al-Fajr, "the Dawn" - is an independent Palestinian media organization established in 1996, operating as a local TV station in the city of Tulkarm and reaching viewers beyond Palestine through its online presence. Al-Salam TV completes the picture as a Palestinian general-entertainment service carrying news and programmes for its home audience.
