Ma'an TV Live Stream

Ma'an TV is part of the Ma'an Network, a non-governmental media organisation created in 2002 in the Palestinian territories as a partnership between Bethlehem TV and independent journalists from the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The name means together in Arabic, and the group is run by Raed Othman, formerly manager of Bethlehem TV.

The Network

The network's television output reaches audiences through partnerships with eight local television stations and twelve radio stations. Ma'an's programmes are broadcast by ten independent terrestrial stations in the West Bank and occasionally by the Fatah-run Palestine TV satellite service, which gives the network a reach beyond its own studios.

Ma'an News Agency followed in 2005, funded by the Danish and Dutch representative offices to the Palestinian National Authority. It publishes around the clock in Arabic, Hebrew and English, describes itself as one of the largest wire services in the territories with more than three million visits a month, and carries reporting, analysis and opinion together with feature material. Its headquarters are in Bethlehem and it keeps an office in Gaza.

Productions

The network has produced three soap operas, among them Mazih fi Jad, described as the first television drama series made in the Palestinian territories, together with numerous news and public affairs programmes and the television film Kafah.

Broadcasting

Ma'an TV distributes a live feed from its own servers and publishes video through the news agency's digital platforms, so its output is available beyond the terrestrial stations that carry the programmes.
