Krik-TV, КРИК-ТВ in Russian, is a federal round-the-clock information channel that works under the slogan All Russia in one broadcast. Its declared purpose is to unite the regions of the country, and it collects detailed news and analysis from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok as well as reporting on foreign countries.

Licence and Reach

The channel broadcasts across the whole territory of the Russian Federation under a federal universal broadcasting licence, series TV number 23702, issued on 17 June 2013. That licence allows it to operate as a nationwide service rather than a regional one, and the channel describes itself as covering Russia and a number of regions in neighbouring and distant countries.

Newsroom Structure

Krik-TV is organised around regional reporting. Its Moscow editorial office produces its own output under the name Krik-TV Moscow, while the main service assembles material from correspondents across the country. The result is a schedule dominated by news from the regions, with items that national bulletins often pass over.

Analysis and commentary accompany the reporting, and the channel carries interviews and studio discussion on domestic affairs.

Distribution

The channel broadcasts continuously and streams online, with an official feed distributed through the CDNV CDN. Its output is also carried on YouTube through the main Krik-TV channel and the Moscow editorial account, and on the Rutube and VK Video platforms, where the live signal is published alongside recorded material.
