L'altro Corriere TV is a regional Italian broadcaster devoted to Calabria and the people, places and cultures of the region. Its editorial approach combines daily news with original programmes that present local communities beyond familiar stereotypes. The channel brings together reporting, discussion, sport, entertainment and features on the region’s landscape, traditions and public life.

Calabria at the centre of the schedule

The broadcaster describes its purpose as promoting and valuing Calabria through a programme schedule focused largely on the region’s natural, cultural and social character. Its productions visit towns and communities and tell stories connected with the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts, the mountains, agriculture and local specialities. Meraviglie di Calabria, presented as postcards from the region, highlights places and traditions across Calabria.

News and public affairs

L’Altro Corriere TG is the channel’s daily news programme, combining current reporting with interviews, investigations and analysis. The schedule also includes thematic news on health and agriculture, alongside coverage of current affairs, sport and live events from the territory. A chiare lettere, a weekly programme curated by Antonio Cantisani, follows news from the regional council and government offices.

Talk, culture and local stories

Telesuonano, hosted by Danilo Monteleone and Ugo Floro, is a political talk programme. Calabria dell’altro mondo examines urgent issues, longstanding problems and the needs of local communities. The broadcaster’s cultural programmes also include L’altra Calabria Arbëreshë, Greca e Occitana, a production about the region’s diverse communities, their histories and the places they inhabit. Together, these formats give the channel a distinctly regional voice, linking public debate with culture, local identity and everyday life across Calabria.
