IRINN 2 Live Stream

IRINN 2 is the second channel of the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network, the news division of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). The network is headquartered at the Jame Jam International Broadcasting Center in Tehran and broadcasts primarily in Persian.

The main IRINN channel is Iran's principal rolling-news service, combining political news with sports, science and medical news programmes. IRINN 2 extends that output, giving the network additional airtime for live press conferences, parliamentary and governmental coverage, analysis programmes and events that exceed the capacity of the first channel's grid.

Inside the IRIB news operation

As part of IRIB — Iran's state broadcasting corporation — the news network draws on the corporation's correspondents across Iran's provinces and its offices abroad. The Jame Jam center in Tehran houses the studios from which the network's bulletins and talk programmes originate.

Two channels, one newsroom

Operating a second channel allows the network to keep rolling news on the main service while IRINN 2 carries longer-form coverage: extended live events, documentary repeats and in-depth discussion programmes. Both channels share the same editorial resources and the network's signature focus on Iranian domestic affairs seen through a state broadcaster's lens.
