TTT - Trinidad and Tobago Television - is the country's state broadcaster and a genuine piece of Caribbean history: launched in 1962, it was the very first television station in the English-speaking Caribbean.

First in the Caribbean

The original TTT signed on in 1962 with independence-era optimism and became the islands' national voice for four full decades. After a long shutdown in 2005, the brand returned to the airwaves in 2018 - again state-run, again carrying the national grid: news bulletins through the day, parliamentary broadcasts, local drama and the cultural programming that reflects both islands.
