Jantantra TV is an Indian Hindi-language news channel whose editorial core lies in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR, with crime and politics as signature beats. The channel describes itself as the fastest Hindi news operation, carrying national and regional coverage around the clock.

State-by-state coverage of India

The channel's newsroom tracks 17 states and regions of India — from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar to Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Bengal, Karnataka, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir — together with election coverage, crime reporting and national stories. Its rundowns pair rolling bulletins with debate programmes on the politics of the day.

Beyond the bulletins

Viewers follow Jantantra TV for national news, Indian politics, breaking coverage, crime and current affairs, alongside entertainment, Bollywood and regional cinema coverage, business, technology, sports and science. Its newsroom says it aims to break the conventions of news reading and show "the real face of every information" — an identity that also shapes its Hindi news portal jantantratv.com, online since 2017.
