RTVS :O Live Stream

RTVS :O - now under the STVR brand - is the Slovak public broadcaster's third channel, the archive-and-youth screen that replaced the old Trojka in 2022. Its name is the astonished little emoticon, and its mission is television that surprises - old treasures and new experiments sharing a single, oddball grid.

The Public Vault, Opened

:O programs the best of Slovak television's archive - classic entertainment, beloved series and legendary music shows - beside new formats aimed at younger viewers who left linear TV years ago: short-form pieces, music, culture and experiments that would never fit the flagship's grid.

A Channel in Transition

Like its news sister :24, the channel crossed the turbulent 2024 bridge from RTVS to STVR, keeping its odd little name and its eclectic grid through the institution's stormiest chapter. The vault stayed open, the surprises kept coming.

Sixty Years of Slovak TV, Rerun

The channel runs around the clock, so anyone who wants to watch RTVS :O online can browse the public vault live, whenever the mood strikes. An :O live evening might be a seventies entertainment classic, a cult series the whole country once quoted, then something short and strange made last month for a generation that mostly watches on phones - the institution's memory and its experiment lab sharing one screen.
