DNO - Dorp en Streek TV Live Stream

DNO - formerly known as Dorp en Streek TV and StreekTV - is a Dutch local broadcaster serving the villages and regions of the northern Netherlands. The broadcaster produces local programming about village life, regional events and community affairs for residents.

Viewers follow DNO for local news and event coverage from their own village and region - from Meppel and Hoogeveen to Staphorst and De Wolden.

One Broadcaster, Four Radio Stations and TV

DNO operates a family of local radio stations - Radio Meppel (93.0 FM), Radio Hoogeveen (106.8 FM), Editie Noord Overijssel (106.6 FM) and Editie Zuidwest Drenthe (104.8 FM) - also receivable via DAB+ on channel 11B, together with its television service and podcasts. The name stands for a simple mission: village and region television, with the programming made in and for the communities of northern Drenthe and the neighbouring Overijssel border.

Close to the Communities

The output shows that closeness: monthly conversations with the mayors and aldermen of municipalities such as De Wolden and Staphorst, coverage of village events from the balloon fair at Staphorst to farmer gatherings in Ruinerwold, local sport from amateur football to cycling's Eneco Tour stage in Hoogeveen, and honours and farewells of the local councils. News reports complete the schedule - from chess tournaments to court cases - all in the broadcaster's own regional voice.
