Sikh Channel Live Stream

Sikh Channel is the United Kingdom's Sikh television channel - the first Sikh channel of its kind, carrying Gurbani, kirtan and community programming for the British Sikh community and the diaspora worldwide.

Sikh Television, Made in Britain

The schedule serves the gurdwaras and households of Britain's Sikh community: live Gurbani recitation and kirtan from gurdwaras in the UK and Punjab, talk and discussion programs on Sikh affairs and faith, youth programming, and coverage of the community's events and festivals. Programs move between Punjabi and English, connecting the generations of a diaspora that has made Britain one of the Sikh world's centers.

A Community-Funded First

Sikh Channel began broadcasting on 13 April 2009, founded by Davinder Singh Bal, and was set up later that year as a Community Interest Company - a structure funded by donations from the community it serves. On 18 April 2013 the channel extended its reach to Canada through a licensing agreement with the Asian Television Network.

A Community's Global Signal

From its UK base, the channel reaches Sikh communities across Europe and beyond - a faith channel built by the community it serves, carrying the traditions and conversations of Sikhism to viewers wherever the diaspora lives.
