Brit Asia TV Live Stream

Brit Asia TV is the United Kingdom's British-Asian music and entertainment channel, launched in 2008 - the screen home of Bhangra, Bollywood and the UK's own British-Asian urban scene.

Asian Music, British Style

The grid is music television for the British Asian community: the latest Asian music videos, Bhangra and Bollywood hits, the urban British-Asian artists who made the UK a capital of the genre, chart shows, artist interviews and entertainment magazine formats. Around the music, the channel carries cultural programming, community affairs and the events of Britain's Asian communities.

The Official Punjabi Chart

In 2019 BritAsia TV launched a dedicated chart and programme in partnership with the Official Charts Company, detailing the world's top Punjabi music - the Official Punjabi Chart brought the genre's rankings to television.

Awards and Events

The channel stages two annual ceremonies of its own: the BritAsia TV Music Awards, held at venues such as Wembley Arena, and the Punjabi Film Awards, established in 2018 as the first event of its kind outside India.

From Sky to Digital

BritAsia TV was carried on Sky from 2008 and on Virgin Media between 2017 and 2020. In 2017 the channel changed ownership from founders Jaz and Davy Bal to a consortium led by CEO Tony Shergill, and in June 2020 it launched BritAsia Radio on DAB. On 8 January 2025 the channel ended linear satellite broadcasting in favour of digital-only distribution and digital radio.
