Top Calcio 24 is an Italian television channel dedicated to football, produced by the Mediapason television group. The all-football network broadcasts from Milan alongside the group's regional channels Telelombardia and Antennatre, reaching most Italian regions.

Viewers follow Top Calcio 24 for around-the-clock football coverage: Serie A and Serie B news, transfer-market reporting, tactical analysis and live debate.

Born with the Digital Switchover

The channel went on air in May 2010, in the days of Lombardy's digital switchover, and within a year established itself among the region's most-watched stations with 500,000 daily contacts - third only to Telelombardia and Antennatre. More than twenty journalists work from the Milan headquarters in the Bovisa district, producing live updates, talk shows and breaking news under editor Sandro Parenzo.

Over the years the signal has grown and shrunk with Italy's frequency reshuffles: a national 24-hour version spread via satellite and digital terrestrial, while today the channel is carried locally in Lombardy and Piedmont - on LCN 12 and 75 - and distributes its evening programmes nationally through the 7 Gold syndication.

Debate, Not Just News

The channel's talk formats run through the day with journalists and former players debating the matches and the mercato, in the Mediapason tradition of football debate built by Telelombardia. Coverage concentrates on Juventus, Milan and Inter, with space for Napoli, Lazio and Roma, and the Diretta Straordinaria format for breaking football news. When the sister channel Top Planet closed, its Turin-produced bianconero shows joined the schedule on weekday afternoons.

Top Calcio 24 streams live through Mediapason's video platform, with its content published on the group's channels.
