BFM Grand Lille, launched as Grand Lille TV and broadcasting under its current name since 3 February 2020, is the local news television channel of the Lille metropolis in northern France. Part of the BFM Locales network of the RMC BFM group, it covers regional news, sport and cultural life for the residents of Lille and the surrounding area.

Viewers follow BFM Grand Lille for daily regional news, local politics, sport and events across the Lille metropolitan area.

From Grand Lille TV to BFM

The story began in 2008, when the audiovisual authority CSA chose the Grand Lille TV project proposed by the SECOM group; the channel went on air on 8 October 2009 as a private local generalist station. In 2011 its transmitter moved from Lambersart to Wattignies, and a power increase in 2013 extended reception to the Douaisis, Arrageois, Valenciennois and Cambrésis areas. High definition arrived on 25 May 2017, a sister channel Grand Littoral TV followed for the Côte d'Opale, and the radio version Grand Lille Info was launched on digital radio in 2018.

In 2019 Altice Média acquired a stake in the channel, and on 3 February 2020 it was relaunched as BFM Grand Lille - the third local version of BFM TV - with the slogan La chaîne info 100% Lille, broadcasting on TNT, cable, internet television and mobile screens.

News All Day for the Metropolis

As a continuous local news channel, BFM Grand Lille follows the model of the BFM Locales network: rolling news focused on the Lille metropolis, with bulletins on local politics, transport and everyday life, coverage of local sport and the cultural agenda of the regional capital. Grand Littoral TV continues to serve the coast under the same family.
