Imam Hussein TV 1 (Persian) Live Stream

Persian-language Imam Hussein TV 1 is one of the television services in the Imam Hussein Media Group. The group’s current profile describes five satellite channels in five languages, plus a sixth channel carrying live pictures from holy shrines. It lists the network headquarters in Karbala, Iraq, and describes TV1’s subject areas as Ahlulbayt teachings, religious jurisprudence, family, youth and documentaries. Archived reports dated 2015–2019 record Persian programmes and special broadcasts; the examples below are historical titles, not a current schedule.

Discussion and audience participation

The 2016 programme Hashtag Soozhe examined current religious, social and cultural questions with Masoud Behnam and included viewers’ opinions in telephone discussions. In 2019, Manam Moshtarekam (“I Am a Subscriber”) ran as a three-night live broadcast from the network’s studio in Karbala, inviting viewers to pledge support for the group.

Pilgrimage coverage

Ziarat Arbaeen 1437 was a Persian-language programme marking the Arbaeen pilgrimage season in 2015. A separate broadcast, Sarzamin-e Eshgh (“Land of Love”), covered Imamology during a special religious observance. These titles connect the channel’s earlier output with pilgrimage and devotional themes.

Laylat al-Qadr broadcasts

In 2015, the Persian service announced six consecutive nights of Ehya broadcasts for Laylat al-Qadr, with recitations by eulogists Asghar Fattahi and Mohammad Mohebi from Karbala.

Ramadan programming

In 2018, the group reported Qur’an Juz Recitations from the Imam Ali Shrine on TV1 during Ramadan. These dated broadcasts show the service’s religious teaching, ritual-calendar and Karbala-related output.
