MRT 3 is the sports channel of Macedonian Radio-Television (MRT), the public broadcaster of North Macedonia. Focused on sports content and entertainment, it broadcasts from Skopje.

The Sports Channel of the Public Broadcaster

Within the MRT family, MRT 3 is the service built around sport and entertainment. The family is the public broadcasting organisation of North Macedonia, founded in 1993 - the successor of a broadcasting history that reaches back to Radio Skopje in 1941 and television from 1964 - and it counts around 1,200 employees. All MRT terrestrial channels broadcast natively in high definition.

Sport for a Nation

The channel's grid is built on sport: live coverage of sporting events and sports news, alongside films and entertainment for the Macedonian audience. Its sister services - MRT 1 for general programming, MRT 2 for the country's Albanian community, MRT 4 for the national minorities and MRT 5 for children - complete the MRT family. The channel's signal runs through the MRT play service, the broadcaster's own platform.
